Bandai Candy, Bandai's confectionery and toy division, today announced the upcoming release of "Super Robot Wars OG ORIGINAL COLLECTION 02," the latest product line based on the "Super Robot Wars OG" series, slated for June 2022.
The Super Robot Wars OG ORIGINAL COLLECTION series was launched to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Super Robot Wars" video game franchise. This collectible candy toy line features several iconic original mecha from the games, rendered in a low-head-to-body ratio, similar to the CONVERGE series, standing approximately 60mm tall. Each figure boasts sharp, cool designs, rich metallic paint applications, and minor articulation in the neck, shoulders, elbows, and wrists, allowing for dynamic posing with their signature weapon accessories!
Following the highly successful first wave which featured Gespenst, Huckebein, Cybaster, and Granzon, the new "Super Robot Wars OG ORIGINAL COLLECTION 02" continues the trend with four more fan-favorite classic mecha: Alteisen, Weissritter, R-1, and Grungust.
・Alteisen (アルトアイゼン)
Recreate the deployment of its shoulder-mounted Square Claymore with interchangeable parts.
・Weissritter (ヴァイスリッター)
Comes with its primary weapon, the Lanze Kanone, meticulously reproducing both E-Mode and B-Mode barrel configurations.
・R-1
Includes the G-Revolver, painted in a gunmetal finish, which can be equipped in both hands.
・Grungust (グルンガスト)
All yellow parts across the unit are finished with a striking gold paint application. Includes its main weapon, the Ketu Rahu Sword.
