Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, renowned for its adorable Nendoroid series of Q-version articulated figures, recently unveiled five exciting new products from the hit anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." Leading the charge are three new additions to the "Nendoroid Swacchao!" lineup: Kyojuro Rengoku, Shinobu Kocho, and Giyu Tomioka, all slated for release in September 2022. Joining them is the "Mugen Train Passenger Seat" accessory, also arriving in September 2022. Additionally, fans can look forward to the Nendoroid More accessory series' "Interchangeable Face Parts Demon Slayer 02," set to launch in June 2022.
The "Nendoroid Swacchao!" series is ingeniously designed for display on desks and in compact spaces, presenting Nendoroids in charming sitting poses. This allows collectors to display their figures "closer" and "more easily." By swapping out the chair's rear leg parts, these Nendoroids can be freely positioned on flat surfaces or even on the edges of objects, further maximizing space. The newly announced Kyojuro Rengoku, Shinobu Kocho, and Giyu Tomioka figures all feature specially sculpted sitting lower body parts.

The "Nendoroid Swacchao! Mugen Train Passenger Seat" is designed to perfectly complement the "Nendoroid Swacchao!" series characters, faithfully recreating the iconic seats from the Mugen Train. Each seat can comfortably accommodate two Nendoroids, and the backrests feature connectors, allowing multiple seats to be linked together. However, the 2,000 JPY price tag for a single seat might feel a bit steep for some collectors.

Scheduled for a June 2022 release, the "Nendoroid More: Interchangeable Face Parts Demon Slayer 02" set includes five distinct expression parts: "Displeased Face (Giyu Tomioka)," "Scornful Face (Giyu Tomioka)," "Death Battle Face (Kyojuro Rengoku)," "Serious Face (Kyojuro Rengoku)," and "Smiling Face (Shinobu Kocho)." These versatile face plates can be used with their respective characters or, thanks to the standardized Nendoroid joint system, swapped with other Nendoroid figures.
