Japan's renowned toy manufacturer MEDICOM TOY, celebrated for its unique BE@RBRICK collectible series that reinterprets popular IP characters and draws in countless toy and trend enthusiasts, is set to release a new "Doraemon Comic Ver." (ドラえもん コミック Ver.) in March 2022! This latest addition to the long-running "Doraemon" manga franchise will launch simultaneously as a "100% & 400% Set" and a colossal "1000%" version.
This new BE@RBRICK design features classic chapters from the Japanese edition of the "Doraemon" manga printed directly onto the figure. "The Doraemon Who Came Back" (帰ってきたとドラえもん) is a highlight, showcasing emotional scenes such as Nobita in tears, Nobita preparing to get revenge on Gian and Suneo, Doraemon holding a Doraemon-shaped box, and the touching moment of the two embracing and crying. However, much like previous BE@RBRICK releases featuring Ukiyo-e or other art prints, the exact placement of the comic panels may vary from one figure to another. Nevertheless, this is definitely a must-consider item for any dedicated Doraemon fan!
