Ignite Your Cosmos! Custom Saint Seiya Pegasus Meteor Fist Effect Diorama 2.0

It's been a while since I first started experimenting with virtual effects, and as more and more people get into creating them, many projects have begun to look quite similar, almost like clones. That's what inspired me to try my hand at making physical, three-dimensional effects. Without further ado, let's dive into the creation process!

First, I sourced some reference images online. Then, I used plastic sheets and shaped them with high heat. My method is similar to paper sculpting, as I don't have much experience with traditional prototyping. I have to say, there's a significant difference in hardness and flexibility between paper and plastic sheets. Even with gloves on, I frequently burned myself while using the heat gun, which definitely added to the production time.

Next, I added the limbs, wings, and applied paint. Since the diorama base wasn't ready yet, I temporarily put it on the figure's back to get a feel for it. LOL.

Then came the creation of the diorama base. My vision was a Roman architectural ruin. For the details on the Roman columns, I used toothpicks and then applied quick-setting cement. The foundation was made from foam board and styrofoam.

Finally, I added the swirling air effects and hand effects. I also added some flocking powder to the base to enhance the texture and layering. With that, the entire concept was complete.

That concludes the entire build process. If you'd like to see more of my work or learn about the materials and methods used, feel free to follow my fan page. I'll be happy to share my knowledge and process with anyone interested. Thanks for reading!
