Macau-based 50%TOY has officially launched "Dino Craftsman," the second Art Toy product featuring the IP character "Dino," designed by Macau artist and designer Siomeng Chan. It is now available on their official website, 50toy.com.
The packaging is rich with thoughtful design elements, primarily featuring a black and white palette. The box edges are accented with yellow stickers matching Dino's skin tone, creating a highly stylized look that conveys a premium feel even before unboxing. 
Carefully tear along the dotted line of the yellow sticker, then slide it open to reveal the frosted transparent sleeve. 
Upon opening, you're greeted by a product instruction card on the left. Its reverse side features a thank-you message alongside the artist's embossed signature or logo.
Inside the box, both Dino and its accessories are securely nestled in foam packaging, ensuring both protection and a luxurious presentation. 
Dino first came to life in 2016 under the pen of artist Siomeng Chan, becoming the protagonist of the adventure story "OO Adventure." The name "Dino" phonetically echoes "癲佬" (dīn lǒu), meaning "madman" in Cantonese. The creator bestowed this name upon the character to embody wild actions or ideas that are often difficult to realize in real life, presenting them in an alternative form. Exhibitions featuring "Dino" adopt a first-person perspective, inviting viewers on an adventurous journey that, in essence, is the author's own fantastical creative voyage. This adventure is filled with unknowns, blending elements of nature, technology, and the supernatural. Centered on the theme of "Departure," it transports viewers between different spaces, traversing both real and surreal worlds to collectively explore new possibilities and continually push the boundaries of imagination. 
During a creative session in February 2016, Siomeng inadvertently sketched the initial prototype of Dino. What began as a casual doodle unexpectedly evolved into a lifelong passion project. Over the years, through countless revisions and meticulous adjustments, from the inaugural Dino "The Dino Workshop" to the current Dino CRAFTSMAN, the character has undergone an untold number of late-night refinements.
The evolution of DINO's creation has never ceased, much like how people pursue new goals after achieving previous ones. DINO's story encompasses the past, present, and future. Hailing from Macau, DINO aspires to travel the world one day.
