From the Pokémon Center Original series, produced by Japanese toy company Kotobukiya and sold at the official Pokémon theme store, Pokémon Center, comes a new product inspired by the game "Pokémon Legends: Arceus": the "Arceus Pre-Painted Figure." Priced at 27,500 JPY, it was scheduled for release in early November 2022.
Revered as the Creator God, the Legendary Pokémon "Arceus" (アルセウス) is a Mythical Pokémon said to have been born from nothingness and to have created the world. Its form resembles a centaur, with four pointed limbs ending in golden hooves, and a distinctive cross-shaped ring adorning its abdomen. Its type and appearance change depending on the Plate it holds. In "Pokémon Legends: Arceus," the myths of the Hisui region describe Arceus as the "Almighty Sinnoh," a divine being that shone upon the land from the heavens as its own light source, guiding and protecting Pokémon.
The "Arceus Pre-Painted Figure" stands approximately 290 mm tall. Based on an illustration by game series concept artist Kazuma Koda, the figure dynamically recreates Arceus unleashing its signature move, Judgment (さばきのつぶて)! Arceus's body features a textured pearlescent white finish, accented with golden patterns and green gems. Amidst crumbling rocks and collapsing pillars, powerful translucent effect parts intertwine, enhancing the figure's majestic presence and faithfully recreating its awe-inspiring in-game appearance! A luxurious base further emphasizes Arceus's divine nature.
