TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, is set to release a new addition to its Figuarts ZERO fixed-pose figure line. Following the popular anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" theme, and the initial releases of protagonists Yuji Itadori and Sukuna, the highly anticipated "Figuarts ZERO Satoru Gojo" will now make its debut! The figure will retail for 8,250 JPY and is slated for a July 2022 release.
Satoru Gojo, the immensely popular character from "Jujutsu Kaisen," hails from the prestigious Gojo family, one of the Jujutsu world's "Big Three" clans. He first appeared as the first-year class teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High. As one of the four Special Grade Sorcerers, he possesses unparalleled strength, widely regarded as the strongest. While often appearing frivolous and childish, he is also incredibly dependable. Outside of combat, he typically conceals his peerless "Six Eyes" with an eye mask or sunglasses, revealing a handsome and refined face beneath.
The "Figuarts ZERO Satoru Gojo" figure, standing approximately 18 cm tall, captures Gojo-sensei in the midst of unleashing his devastating "Hollow Purple" technique, combining both Cursed Technique Forward and Cursed Technique Reversal, with his eye mask removed. Powerful translucent purple effect parts burst forth from his cool, yet slightly dramatic, hand gesture, perfectly recreating the anime's iconic moment of instant enemy annihilation! The immense force of the attack is evident in the meticulously sculpted wrinkles of Gojo's understated black attire, and his silver hair dramatically sweeps backward, showcasing his cool and composed expression even in the heat of battle.
