Following the success of their renowned Meteorite Bug Beast and Hannya Scarab Queen, toy design brand Mushi Bros Toys is expanding the MBT world of monstrous beetles. The Giant Bug Soldiers, long dormant across the globe, are now awakening! Multiple imposing Giant Bug Soldier figures are slated to debut throughout 2022.
Established in 2019, Mushi Bros Toys (or MBT for short) takes its name from the Japanese word "Mushi" (むし), signifying the designers' deep passion for beetles. Within the MBT universe, when humanity's destruction of Earth reaches a critical point, the planet's cries awaken colossal insectoids—the Giant Bug Soldiers—from their subterranean slumber. Are they guardians of the Earth, rising from the abyss, or harbingers of destruction for humankind? What mysterious connection do they share with the Scarab Queen? Thus begins the epic tale of the Insect Kingdom...
According to the lore, fallen meteorites, upon contact with Hercules Beetles, transformed into beetle-like forms and showed signs of life, eventually becoming the Meteorite Bug Beasts. At that time, four other meteorites were scattered across the globe... Could the landing sites of these meteorites coincide with the geographical locations of the first wave of awakening Giant Bug Soldiers?
Currently, two Giant Bug Soldiers have already awakened: the Giant Bug Soldier - Nanyang from Malaysia, and the Giant Bug Soldier - Yamato from Japan. While resembling rhinoceros beetles, the Giant Bug Soldiers boast menacing features like fangs and sharp claws, coupled with piercing eyes and intricately patterned carapaces, exuding an aura of pure hellish ferocity! Their wild cowboy bandanas only add to their undeniable coolness.
