TARLIN International (ターリン・インターナショナル), which took over the capsule toy division from veteran Japanese toy maker EPOCH in July 2021, is set to release an adorably perplexing new capsule toy series, "Amagaeru" (Tree Frog), in June 2022!
While frog-themed capsule toys are quite common, dressing them in raincoats is certainly a unique and charming approach. Unlike other frog capsule toys that often focus on realistic biological textures or anthropomorphic sitting/standing poses, TARLIN's "Amagaeru" figures boast smooth skin and rounded lines, giving them a distinct toy-like feel. These colorful tree frogs, each donning a little yellow raincoat, become cuter the more you look at them! Measuring approximately 3 cm, they're sure to be incredibly soothing to hold. Plus, the raincoats are designed as separate, removable parts.
The "Amagaeru" series includes 5 collectible designs: Blue-Green, Light Green, Gray-Brown, Yellow, and Pink.
