✨Project Background✧*｡٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و✧*｡
This latest project was a commission from a long-time, loyal collector and supporter of our work!
He often tells us, "This is the last commission for the year," but it's never long before we get a new message.
~~Client: "Eddie, I've got another idea..."
~~Eddie: "A Hsien! We've got a new request for the wishlist!"
~~A Hsien: "Okay." (nods) A Hsien is a man of few words, haha.
✨The "A Hsien Wishlist" Modification Details:
~~Head Modifications
-Lengthen the bangs on the right side
-Increase the overall length of the bangs
-Add detailed layers and flow to the tied-up hair
-Incorporate new braids
-Add a new hair accessory (the original neck accessory was moved to the back of her hair)
~~Body Modifications
-The goal was a look inspired by Super Sonico's popular cheongsam figures
-Transform the outfit into a short cheongsam (qipao)
-Resculpt the bust for a more pushed-up, concentrated look
-Completely resculpt the lower body, replacing the pants with new hips and underwear

✨The figure was first disassembled using the hot water method. (This technique is covered in detail in Chapter 2 of our online course.)
✨The torso was separated into front and back pieces. This allows for easier painting without the need for extensive masking.
✨The original sculpt already included the female socket joint.
✨The corresponding male peg was destroyed during the cutting process, so a new one had to be fabricated.
✨Pinning the head for a secure connection.
✨Building up the volume of the bust for that "full-focus" look.
✨The waist was cut into a V-shape to match the cheongsam's design.
✨The material removed from the midsection was repurposed and added back to the upper torso.
✨Continuing to build up and refine the shape of the chest.
✨Next, epoxy putty was applied to the lower body to begin sculpting the cheongsam, with the initial wrinkle lines sketched out.
✨Work continues on the upper body, sculpting the clothing folds and wrinkles!
✨The original pants are modified into sculpted underwear.
✨Sculpting the hips (getting the curves just right is crucial).
✨Adding braids to the hair. The tips of the braids were made using steel-reinforced epoxy putty for durability.
✨Lengthening the bangs and using aluminum wire to create the extended side-swept hair.
✨Smaller details were crafted using modeling clay.
✨A test assembly to check the overall silhouette before sculpting more fine details!

✨The original necklace was repurposed as a hair accessory.
