The "LEGO Super Mario" series, a collaborative effort between LEGO and Nintendo focusing on a hybrid physical-digital play experience, recently unveiled more characters and new sets on its official Facebook page: the LEGO Princess Peach figure and the Peach's Castle set! It looks like our plumber is finally ready to embark on his princess-rescuing journey.
Based on the official images, the Princess Peach figure appears to be an adventure starter course, similar to the previously released Mario and Luigi figures. She features LEGO's unique interpretation with electronic displays in her eyes and chest. Her blonde hair and crown are highly accurate, though her traditionally slender waistline has been reimagined into a distinctly blocky, "super LEGO" form. The "Peach's Castle" set, on the other hand, constructs the iconic castle scene with an abundance of red and white bricks. The tower top components look promising, and Princess Peach's stained glass decoration is absolutely stunning, undoubtedly a major highlight of this release. Naturally, the set also includes pathways and interactive mechanisms for the adventure figures to navigate, along with brick-built models of characters like Bowser, Ludwig, and Toadette. We're eagerly awaiting the full official announcement!
