BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division has announced the latest product from the second part of "AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline," which is set to air in April. The new "HG 1/72 MAILeS Kenbu Zan" plastic model kit is scheduled for release in April 2022.
The MAILeS Kenbu Zan serves as the successor unit piloted by protagonist Amou Shiiba in the second part of the series. While its overall frame and silhouette are similar to the original MAILeS Kenbu, it features heavier armor and enhanced performance. Equipped with armaments such as the Super Vibrating Naginata and a 40mm Arm Machine Gun, it is designed to excel in close-quarters combat.
The "HG 1/72 MAILeS Kenbu Zan" continues the highly flexible and articulated frame design of its predecessor. It features newly molded parts to recreate its distinct head and armor styling. The head camera is meticulously reproduced with precise part separation and clear components. The kit also includes various weapon parts, such as the Super Vibrating Naginata, which can be mounted on its back, a detachable 40mm Arm Machine Gun, and a 60mm Portable Machine Gun, allowing for dynamic action poses.
