Bandai Spirits HOBBY Division has officially announced the latest product from the second part of "AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline," which is set to air in April: the "HG 1/72 MAILeS Reiki Kai" model kit, slated for a June 2022 release.
The MAILeS Reiki Kai is an enhanced, customized version of the Reiki, piloted by Shion Shishibe. This upgraded unit features large thrusters installed across its body, two new "multi-missile launchers" on its back, and redesigned folding large wings, significantly boosting its gliding combat capabilities. Furthermore, its primary weapon, the "Super Heated Vibration Naginata Kai," now boasts an extendable mechanism for improved portability.
The "HG 1/72 MAILeS Reiki Kai" maintains the highly flexible and articulated frame design of its predecessor. It utilizes newly molded parts to faithfully recreate the updated armor styling and various armaments. The kit accurately reproduces the folding mechanism of the large back wings and the extendable feature of the Super Heated Vibration Naginata Kai. All thrusters across its body also boast rotating functions, allowing for a wide range of dynamic combat poses.
