BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division today announced the latest addition to their "HG (High Grade)" model kit series: the "HG 1/72 MAILeS Jougan Kai," from the second part of "AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline," which is set to air in April. This new kit is scheduled for release in May 2022.
The MAILeS Jougan Kai is an enhanced version of the Jougan, piloted by Tetsuka Gashin. Shifting from its previous sniping tactics, the Jougan Kai adopts a heavily armored specification with significantly boosted firepower and defense. It mounts a massive 45mm Rotary Armored Autocannon, shoulder shields, and large drum magazines, designed to overwhelm enemies with concentrated firepower.
The "HG 1/72 MAILeS Jougan Kai" utilizes the highly flexible articulation frame from previous kits. It features newly molded parts to faithfully recreate the updated armor design and the imposing "45mm Rotary Armored Autocannon." This weapon can connect to the shoulder shields and be supported by a stand on the rear skirt armor, allowing for dynamic shooting poses. The armor also conceals a "40mm Portable Short Autocannon" for close-quarters combat.
