Good Smile Company's Nendoroid series, known for its vast lineup of over a thousand articulated figures, is re-releasing the "Nendoroid Vladilena Milizé Bloody Regina Ver." to coincide with the second season of the TV anime "86 -Eighty Six-." This follows the initial release of Vladilena Milizé from the popular light novel adaptation. Priced at 5,900 JPY, it's slated for release in November 2022.
Authored by Asato Asato with illustrations by Shirabi, the light novel series "86 -Eighty Six-" (86―エイティシックス―) is set in the Republic of San Magnolia. To counter the invading autonomous weapons known as the "Legion" from its neighbors, San Magnolia developed its own identical weaponry, the "86," proclaiming a war that wouldn't require human lives. However, beyond the Republic's 85 administrative sectors, in the "non-existent 86th sector," a group of young men and women, branded as 86, pilot "manned drones," the Regios, fighting day and night.
The protagonist, "Lena," whose full name is Vladilena Milizé, is an elite officer who achieved the rank of Major at just sixteen. A member of the Alba (Silver) noble lineage, she serves in the San Magnolia military as a combat command and control officer for the Spearhead Squadron, which includes the male protagonist, Shin. She commands operations via special communication, refusing to treat the 86 as disposable tools.
The "Nendoroid Vladilena Milizé Bloody Regina Ver." making its debut here was originally released in Japan as a bonus item with the special edition of the light novel "86 -Eighty Six- Ep.12." Standing approximately 10 cm tall, this Nendoroid is largely similar to the previous Lena release, with the main difference being her Bloody Regina appearance. Her silver-white hair now features a red streak, and her uniform has changed color to reflect her altered rank. It includes new, more resolute interchangeable face plates, in addition to the standard smiling "normal face," a teary-eyed "crying face," and a charming "smiling face." Paired with her folder, miniature military cap, and the poignant spider lilies from the series, you can recreate various memorable scenes.
