Pokémon fans have likely been following the news about the "Pokémon Fossil Museum" exhibition recently! Now, Bandai's candy toy division, known for its delicious and fun "Charapaki Excavation Dinosaur Chocolate" series, is set to release an amazing Pokémon collaboration: the "Charapaki Pokémon Excavation Chocolate" (キャラパキ ポケモン発掘チョコ) in April 2022 at retailers across Japan!
The "Charapaki Excavation Dinosaur Chocolate" series is all about the joy of "excavating" dinosaur fossils with your fingers as you eat. This Pokémon collaboration brings that same interactive fun with 8 different designs, naturally featuring Pokémon with ancient and fossil elements in their lore. The lineup includes Tyrantrum, Aerodactyl, Aurorus, Kabutops, Rampardos, Bastiodon, Archeops, and Carracosta. Seeing these Pokémon reinterpreted in a fossil style is truly captivating!
Following the Charapaki series' signature gameplay, these Pokémon Excavation Chocolates come in various difficulty levels, from Level 1 to Level 3. The higher the level, the more challenging it is to perfectly excavate the Pokémon fossil—the Aerodactyl one looks incredibly tough! Additionally, each chocolate piece features an adorable archaeologist Pikachu chocolate in the corner. For flavors, each bar combines three delicious tastes: white chocolate, milk chocolate, and banana chocolate!
