BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest addition to its popular "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" series: the "Nu Gundam & Sazabi Option Parts Set" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," slated for release in July 2022.
This set is designed to be used with the separately sold G-FRAME FA Nu Gundam and Sazabi figures. It includes a wealth of exclusive weapon accessories for both mobile suits, filling out the beam sabers, bazookas, beam tomahawks, dedicated stands, and display bases not included with the standard releases. What's more, it even allows collectors to recreate enhanced forms from the MSV (Mobile Suit Variation) designs!
For the Nu Gundam, the set features the Nu Hyper Bazooka, Beam Sabers (double-bladed/single-bladed), spare Beam Sabers, 12 Fin Funnels with dedicated stands, a complete H.W.S. (Heavy Weapon System) additional armor set, Hyper Mega Rifle, and Hyper Mega Shield. These parts enable the recreation of two distinct forms seen in MSV: the "Nu Gundam (Double Fin Funnel Type)" and the "Nu Gundam H.W.S.".
The Sazabi accessories include one Beam Tomahawk, two Beam Sabers, and a backpack Funnel rack that more accurately replicates its in-show mechanics. Unlike the standard release, this version adds a deployment gimmick, allowing it to store six Funnels (in stored mode). Additionally, six Funnels (in deployed mode) are included, along with dedicated stands to recreate dynamic firing scenes.
