To celebrate the anniversary of the 1991 film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze," US toy manufacturer NECA fully unveiled several new products from the movie on March 22nd, the same date the film was released 31 years ago. This article brings you the product information for the Accessory Set, designed to make your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures even more versatile and fun!
The first "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" film in 1990 was criticized for its dark and violent tone, drawing significant backlash (mostly from parents). As a result, the 1991 sequel, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze," incorporated many more lighthearted, everyday scenes. This new Accessory Set is packed with items, including extra interchangeable head sculpts for the Turtles – the gagged Raphael head is particularly hilarious! It also features a potato chip bag, a suitcase, a computer, a mop and apron for cleaning, and even the pre-mutation turtle and wolf that would become the monstrous duo Tokka and Rahzar. The packaging artwork itself is a fantastic homage to the original VHS release!
