Japan's Kotobukiya, under its pre-painted finished product brand "ARTFX+", today (21st) announced the latest release from "The Mandalorian": the "Mandalorian & Grogu with Beskar Staff" 1/10 scale pre-painted statue! It is scheduled for release in August 2022.
Standing approximately 18 cm tall, the "ARTFX+ Mandalorian & Grogu with Beskar Staff" captures the Mandalorian striding forward, holding the Beskar Staff in his right hand while cradling Grogu in his left. Compared to previous statues and figures where Grogu was often depicted in a satchel or backpack, this rendition exudes a stronger "fatherly" vibe. The Beskar armor and jetpack boast a brilliant metallic sheen, complemented by realistic weathering effects. The cape is dynamically sculpted, adding to the sense of motion. Furthermore, magnets are embedded in the soles of his feet, allowing him to securely attach to the included square black base, though he can also be displayed independently.
