Following the releases of Himawari Honma and Kuzuha, Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company has officially announced the latest addition to their popular Nendoroid series: "Sasaki Saku" from the Japanese Virtual Liver group NIJISANJI. This adorable new Nendoroid is slated for an October 2022 release.
Clad in her charming panda jacket, Sasaki Saku is characterized as a high school student who loves aquariums and video games but isn't fond of school. She's well-known for her unique verbal tic, "YAYO~." A passionate and skilled player of Nintendo games, Sasaki Saku even briefly retired when she was unable to stream Nintendo titles, only to return after Nintendo revised its streaming guidelines. Despite often being plagued by bad luck in games, particularly in "Mario Kart," Sasaki Saku achieved a miraculous victory in the "4th NIJISANJI Mario Kart Cup" finals at the end of 2021.
The "Nendoroid Sasaki Saku" figure perfectly captures her in a cute, chibi-style rendition of her panda jacket outfit. Fans will appreciate the faithful recreation of details such as her beloved Flapjack Octopus earrings and the drawstring on her hat. The Nendoroid features interchangeable head parts, allowing you to display her with or without her hood. She comes with three distinct face plates: a charming "Standard Face," a cheerful "Smiling Face," and an intimidating "YAYO Face" for when she's feeling a bit miffed. Additional accessories include "Sitting Parts" and a "Game Console," a common Nendoroid accessory, enabling collectors to pose her playing games alongside other separately sold NIJISANJI Nendoroids!
Furthermore, those who order "Nendoroid Sasaki Saku" through the "GOODSMILE Online Shop" will receive a special bonus: a "Special Round Base" featuring Sasaki Saku's signature!
