Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company has announced the latest addition to its popular Q-style articulated figure line, the Nendoroid series. Following the releases of Himawari Honma and Kuzuha, the company today revealed "Kanae" from the Japanese Virtual Liver group NIJISANJI, slated for an October 2022 release.
Kanae, who is always seen with his cat plushie LOTO, is characterized as a healing, angelic presence with a gentle voice and a conveniently amnesiac past. He excels at various games, especially FPS titles. While he typically maintains his gentle persona, games like Minecraft and ARK reveal his "efficiency fiend" side, where he employs morally questionable tactics like "human trafficking" and "war profiteering" to achieve maximum efficiency, earning him the moniker "NIJISANJI's Darkness."
The "Nendoroid Kanae" faithfully recreates his understated yet stylish outfit and the LOTO plushie he holds, with intricate detailing on his necklace, straps, and knitwear textures. He comes with three interchangeable face plates: a gentle "Standard Face," a calm "Smiling Face," and an alluring "Winking Face." These can be combined with optional parts such as the "Bouquet" from his birthday illustration, a "Handgun" for FPS gameplay, and the standard "Game Console" included with the series. Fans can also pair him with the separately sold Nendoroid Kuzuha to form the ChroNoiR duo, or gather four Liver Nendoroids for a group gaming session!
Furthermore, orders for "Nendoroid Kanae" placed through the "GOODSMILE Online Shop" will receive a "Special Round Base" featuring Kanae's signature!
