Bandai Candy, the collectible toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the first Premium Bandai exclusive for its latest action figure series, "SHODO-XX," an evolution of the popular "SHODO" line. The "SHODO-XX Kamen Rider Ex-Aid" set is slated for an August 2022 release.
The "SHODO-XX" series significantly enhances both sculpting and articulation compared to its predecessors. It utilizes numerous new parts to refine the designs of various Kamen Riders and features redesigned joints to expand the range of motion, faithfully recreating the suit's on-screen coolness and iconic poses. This particular set includes the ultimate forms of protagonist Emu Hojo and Bugster Parado from "Kamen Rider Ex-Aid": "Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Muteki Gamer" and "Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knock Out Gamer Level 99."
Standing approximately 10 cm tall, both riders in the "SHODO-XX Kamen Rider Ex-Aid" set boast flexible articulation. Their intricate sculpting faithfully reproduces Muteki Gamer's sharp, radiant armor and Para-DX's puzzle-patterned coat. The figures' signature gold, and red and blue color schemes are meticulously recreated through both molded plastic and paint applications. Additionally, each figure comes with its dedicated weapon—the Gashacon Key Slasher and Gashacon Para Breakgun—allowing fans to recreate dynamic battle scenes.
