Brazilian collectible manufacturer Iron Studios recently announced new statues from various popular IPs. This article focuses on their latest offering: the 1/10 scale "Moon Knight" Art Scale statue, based on the Marvel series "Moon Knight"! It's slated for release in the first quarter of 2023.
Set to appear in his eponymous series, "Moon Knight" is known in the comics as Marc Spector, a character with dissociative identity disorder and multiple personalities. Marc was formerly a U.S. Marine, CIA operative, and mercenary who was betrayed by his comrades and left for dead during a mission in Egypt. However, the ancient Egyptian moon god Khonshu made a pact with Marc, transforming him into his avatar and the "Moon Knight," a protector of those who travel by night.
Standing approximately 30 cm tall, this piece meticulously recreates Marc's transformation into Moon Knight, based on the series' design. From head to toe, he is enveloped in grayish-white bandages and attire, accented with golden details throughout. Realistic shadow painting enhances the layered texture of the costume. This Iron Studios rendition of Moon Knight holds a Crescent Dart in one hand while the other is clenched into a fist. His white cape is dynamically sculpted to appear wind-swept, and the architectural corner-themed base features an excellent paint application that rivals the main figure itself. The overall presentation is incredibly striking!
