K-zawa, the lead developer for multiple "Mobile Suit Gundam" capsule toy projects under Bandai's Gashapon brand, recently announced three brand-new Gundam-themed product lines set to launch throughout 2022, with release dates yet to be determined.
K-zawa also confirmed that existing Gundam lines under his purview, including "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE," "Gashapon Senshi F," and "ULTIMATE LUMINOUS," will continue to receive new additions. Notably, "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" is slated to unveil a massive new product in mid-April, planned for a September 2022 release. This highly anticipated item is speculated to be the RX-78GP03 Dendrobium, which has been teased previously.
In addition to these ongoing series, the three entirely new Gundam product lines will launch. These include "Product A," a lower-frequency general release priced at 500 JPY; "Product B," another lower-frequency line exclusive to Premium Gashapon; and "Product C," a regularly released series available through multiple channels such as general retailers, Gashapon Online, and Premium Bandai. Full details for all three new lines are yet to be revealed.
