Good Smile Company, the Japanese manufacturer behind the popular "Nendoroid" collectible figure series, officially announced today, June 7th, their latest release from the sci-fi horror film "Alien": the "Nendoroid Alien"! This terrifying new figure is slated for release in November 2022.
One of sci-fi cinema's most iconic monsters, the "Alien," now joins the Nendoroid lineup, standing approximately 11 cm tall! This rendition reinterprets the creature with stylized chibi proportions while faithfully capturing the essence of the "Big Chap." Its smooth, semi-transparent head, with the distinct skull-like structure visible within, is meticulously reproduced. The unique blend of inorganic and organic elements is rendered with incredible detail, and the overall sculpt density is remarkably high. Combined with the body's gradient paint application and metallic silver teeth, it makes for an absolutely stunning display piece!
The "Nendoroid Alien" also offers fantastic playability. Beyond its fully articulated body, fans can look forward to its retractable inner jaw, along with Facehugger and Chestburster accessories, perfect for posing with other Nendoroids. An Alien Egg effect background sheet is also included, further enhancing display possibilities.
