BANDAI's Candy Toy Division is set to release the second wave of its popular "Friends series" blind box figures, featuring Nintendo's beloved pink puffball, Kirby! Titled "Kirby Friends 2" (星のカービィ Kirby Friends2), these adorable mini figures are scheduled for a May 2022 release.
First appearing in the game "Kirby's Dream Land," Kirby is one of Nintendo's most iconic characters, known for his round, pink body. Despite his cute appearance, Kirby possesses a surprisingly large mouth, allowing him to inhale almost anything. His signature ability to swallow enemies, transform, and copy their powers is a fan-favorite, leading to a rich history of games and merchandise. Most recently, "Kirby and the Forgotten Land" launched on the Nintendo Switch, offering players an unprecedented 3D adventure with the beloved hero.
The "Kirby Friends 2" collection features a total of eight unique designs. Additionally, the "Kirby (Cloud & Star)" figure includes a special chase color variant, bringing the total number of collectible figures to nine. Fans of Kirby won't want to miss out on these charming additions to their collection!
