Following the acclaimed Gurren Lagann, Chinese toy brand CCSTOYS is once again expanding its MORTAL MIND alloy action figure series with the latest prototype reveal from the 15th-anniversary anime "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann": the "Lazengann." A release date is yet to be determined.
The True Spiral King's Machine, "Lazengann," is a Gunmen piloted by Lordgenome, the Spiral King. Utilizing the same system as Gurren Lagann, it boasts a beast-like physique and excels in agile close-quarters combat. The Lazengann can generate sharp drills from various points across its body for attack. Combined with Lordgenome's immense Spiral Power and battle-hardened piloting skills, its performance is considered top-tier among all Gunmen.
Based on the prototype revealed so far, the MORTAL MIND Lazengann continues the Gurren Lagann's frame design. In addition to faithfully recreating Lazengann's muscular armor curves, CCSTOYS has also incorporated more intricate panel lines and split-armor details than seen in the original anime. Numerous drill attachment points, identical to those on Gurren Lagann, are also present across its body, suggesting that this release will also include a generous assortment of drill parts.
