American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys recently revealed the "Batman" action figure from the "Blackest Night" comic series, joining their popular "DC Multiverse" line, via their official Facebook page.
"Blackest Night" was one of DC Comics' major crossover events from 2009–2010, depicting the terrifying resurrection of numerous deceased villains and superheroes by the power of the Black Lantern Rings. These resurrected beings returned to the living world in horrifying forms, unleashing widespread slaughter. The newly sculpted "Batman (Blackest Night) Action Figure" perfectly captures his chilling appearance from the comic. From his gaunt, pale face and sharpened fingers to the dynamically sculpted folds and curves of his cape, every detail is faithfully reproduced. Even the Black Lantern symbol atop his iconic Bat-symbol is meticulously recreated! This figure is sure to be a fascinating and unique addition to any Batman collection, and we eagerly await the full product announcement.
