MegaHouse, the Japanese toy company behind the popular "VARIABLE ACTION HEROES" series, known for its exceptional sculpting that brings characters to life, is set to reissue the fan-favorite "VARIABLE ACTION HEROES DX Hatake Kakashi" action figure! This special re-release commemorates the 20th anniversary of "Naruto" and is slated for release in late October 2022, offering collectors who missed its initial run a chance to acquire it at its original price.
Hatake Kakashi is an elite ninja from Konohagakure in "Naruto," and a disciple of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. After receiving a transplanted Sharingan from Obito Uchiha in his left eye, he gained the Uchiha clan's Kekkei Genkai, earning him the moniker "Copy Ninja." He served in the Hokage's personal ANBU before becoming the sensei for Team 7, guiding protagonists Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno. Following the Fourth Great Ninja War, he assumed the mantle of the Sixth Hokage.
This reissued "VARIABLE ACTION HEROES DX Hatake Kakashi" action figure is crafted at an impressive 1/8 scale, standing approximately 18 cm tall, and features highly articulated joints for dynamic posing. The meticulous sculpting and paint application perfectly capture the charm of Kakashi-sensei.
In addition to his signature languid gaze, the figure includes multiple interchangeable face parts, such as a squinting smile, a Sharingan-activated expression, and a face with his forehead protector removed. To recreate various iconic scenes, it also comes with lightning effect parts for his classic jutsu, Chidori, along with a kunai weapon, a copy of "Icha Icha Paradise," and several interchangeable hand gestures.
