Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) is set to release a new cinema-themed capsule toy series, the "Cinema Complex Miniature Collection," in April 2022. Each capsule will retail for ¥500.
Supervised by the Japanese cinema chain T-JOY (ティ・ジョイ), the "Cinema Complex Miniature Collection" capsule toys meticulously miniaturize everything from the theater interior to the refreshments. The series features four distinct types to collect: the "Theater" scene, "Cinema Seat," "Popcorn Set," and "Poster Frame." Beyond their exquisite detail, these miniatures offer enhanced playability with interchangeable accessories, significantly boosting their appeal to collectors.
● Theater (シアター)
The "Theater" set allows collectors to print out and swap in their favorite movie stills, transforming the scene to their liking. Even the rows of densely packed seats are meticulously reproduced, adding to the realism.
● Cinema Seat (シネマシート)
The "Cinema Seat" comes in both red and black versions, featuring an interconnecting design that makes collecting multiples even more enjoyable for building a larger theater setup. While official dimensions haven't been revealed yet, collectors are already eager to see their articulated figures take a seat in these miniature chairs.
● Poster Frame (ポスターフレーム)
Much like the "Theater" scene, the "Poster Frame" allows for customization by printing and inserting your own miniature movie posters. This set also thoughtfully includes interchangeable "NOW SHOWING" and "COMING SOON" signs, adding to its versatility.
