China-based model manufacturer YCY (Yicaiyuan Heavy Industries) has secured official SNK authorization to transform popular female characters into mecha girls. Their third release for "The King of Fighters XIV" is the "Mai Shiranui Mecha Girl Model Kit," priced at 198 RMB and slated for a Q2 2022 launch.
Mai Shiranui (しらぬい まい) is an iconic female character prominently featured in SNK's "Fatal Fury" and "The King of Fighters" game series. As a skilled female fighter and master of the Shiranui-ryu ninjutsu, taught by her grandfather Shiranui Hanzo, she is renowned for her impressive physique and signature use of fans and fire in combat. Her distinctive swaying movements in-game have left a lasting impression on players, solidifying her status as a fan-favorite across the series.

Capitalizing on the immense popularity of the "King of Fighters" goddess, YCY introduces the "Mai Shiranui Mecha Girl Model Kit." This unique design merges the enchanting female ninja with both light-type external armor and a heavy-duty backpack, creating a distinctive style that is both fierce and alluring! Standing approximately 15.5 cm tall upon assembly, the figure showcases Mai's stunning physique in her fiery ninja attire, complemented by sleek mecha lines, delivering a powerful visual impact of strength and beauty.
