American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys announced yesterday (the 13th) its latest wave of "DC Essentials" series "DCeased" themed products. This wave features four characters: Deathstroke, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood! They are slated for release in June 2022.
The "DC Essentials" line was originally a DC character action figure series released by DC Direct. Figures based on the 2019 zombie-themed comic "DCeased" were highly popular among collectors. Many fans feared the line would be discontinued after DC Direct ceased operations. Thankfully, McFarlane Toys, which took over DC Direct's business, is now bringing these previously showcased convention exclusives back to light!
These new DC Essentials DCeased action figures are crafted in 1/10 scale (approximately 7 inches tall) and feature 19 points of articulation. The biggest selling points are, of course, the blood-splattered paint applications, crazed eyes, and detailed scarring and decay on their skin, reflecting their zombie transformation. Deathstroke looks incredibly cool – a definite must-buy!
