Hong Kong-based toy brand ACTION TOYS recently unveiled developing prototypes for two new additions to their 15cm-class robot action figure line, the "MINI ACTION" series: "Golion (Lion Voltron)" and "Dairugger XV (Vehicle Voltron)". Both are slated for release within 2022.

These two new mecha are the titular five-lion combining protagonist robot "Golion" from the Japanese anime "Beast King Golion," and the 15-vehicle combining "Dairugger XV" from "Armored Fleet Dairugger XV." Both Toei Animation productions were licensed by World Events Productions (WEP) in the U.S. and re-edited into "Voltron: Defender of the Universe," leading to both mecha being known internationally as "Voltron."
Unpainted prototypes for both products have been revealed. In addition to promising excellent sculpts and articulation, the Dairugger XV is confirmed to feature its 15-vehicle separation gimmick. However, ACTION TOYS has also announced that due to rising raw material costs, the prices for these two items will see an increase, though they are striving to maintain reasonable pricing.
