Bandai has officially announced a new collaboration for its iconic handheld digital pet line, Tamagotchi, this time with the blockbuster film "Jurassic World Dominion"! Two distinct versions are set to launch: the "Dinosaur Amber" and "Dinosaur Egg" Tamagotchi. Both are scheduled for a July 23, 2022 release.
There's a certain delightful absurdity to the idea of raising massive, prehistoric dinosaurs on a tiny 4cm Tamagotchi device! This "Jurassic World Dominion" themed Tamagotchi allows you to raise a total of 26 different carnivorous and herbivorous dinosaurs. The roster includes fan-favorites like the T-Rex, Blue the Velociraptor, and the Triceratops, as well as the terrifying Indominus Rex! In addition to raising your dino, you can experience 30 classic scenes from the film franchise and play three different mini-games. One of the games even involves a thrilling escape from a dinosaur hunt!
