Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY is set to release a new collectible from their affordable PVC painted figure series, "POP UP PARADE," featuring Spike, the protagonist from the renowned classic anime series "Cowboy Bebop," in August 2022!
"Cowboy Bebop" (カウボーイビバップ) is an iconic original anime series co-produced by Sunrise and Bandai, with Hajime Yatate credited as the original creator. It first aired on TV Tokyo in April 1998. The story follows protagonist Spike and his partner Jet, both bounty hunters. Through a series of chance encounters, they meet Faye, a beautiful and money-loving woman, Ed, a computer prodigy, and Ein, a highly intelligent corgi. This unlikely crew of four humans and one dog embarks on a life of chasing bounties, all while confronting and attempting to heal the indelible traumas of their pasts.
This POP UP PARADE figure of Spike from Cowboy Bebop stands approximately 18 cm tall, faithfully recreating his lean physique. Posed coolly with one hand on his hip and a pistol in the other, the figure perfectly captures his dashing bounty hunter persona. His signature messy, curly hair and confident smile are also key features. Fans of Cowboy Bebop won't want to miss adding him to their collection.
