Kotobukiya Unveils First-Ever Mega Man EXE Model Kit in 20 Years! Mega Man (Mega Man EXE) Arrives This September

Japanese model kit manufacturer Kotobukiya recently announced its latest model kit product from the game "Mega Man EXE," the Mega Man (Mega Man EXE), slated for a September 2022 release. Additionally, a new "Dark Mega Man" model kit from "Mega Man EXE" is also scheduled to launch in October.

In "Mega Man EXE," Mega Man is an artificial intelligence program, known as a NetNavi, developed by Lan Hikari's father, Yuichiro Hikari. Upon completion, he possessed a simulated personality and achieved 100% synchronization with his operator, Lan Hikari. His personality is earnest, he's oblivious to romance, and he's afraid of ghosts. He can utilize armaments such as the Mega Buster and Sword, and in subsequent game titles, he can also change forms through specific systems. In reality, Mega Man was developed by Yuichiro Hikari using the DNA data of Lan's prematurely deceased twin brother, Hub Hikari. This not only made his personality more human-like but also gave him overall performance superior to previous NetNavis.

Designed with CAD, the Mega Man (Mega Man EXE) model kit boasts excellent part separation and articulation. Once assembled, it forms a fully articulated Mega Man figure standing approximately 14 cm tall. Some parts come pre-painted, allowing even novice modelers to achieve a highly accurate representation.

Accessories include four interchangeable face parts: a standard face, a smiling face, a shouting face, and a masked face, allowing for a wide range of emotional expressions from the game. It also comes with multiple interchangeable hand parts, forearm parts to display his Buster or Sword modes, the Mega Buster, two lengths of the Sword, and sword slash effect parts, enabling dynamic battle poses!
