Japanese toy company Kotobukiya, in collaboration with illustrator Shunya Yamashita, has announced the latest addition to their "MARVEL BISHOUJO" series. The next-generation Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, makes her debut as a 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure, slated for release in November 2022.
The "BISHOUJO Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)" figure stands approximately 25 cm tall. Her costume is based on the 1960s-inspired hero suit design from Matt Fraction and David Aja's comic series "Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon." Shunya Yamashita's reinterpretation imbues the design with a fresh, youthful aesthetic and the charming aura of a rookie hero. Her slightly surprised expression and dynamic pose, being pulled forward by Pizza Dog Lucky, are incredibly endearing. Kate's physique is sculpted with appealing curves, and the subtle "skin-bite" effect created by the leather pouch strap on her right leg is particularly well-executed. Lucky, faithfully recreated with his pizza-loving personality, also boasts excellent sculpting and paintwork on his fur. This figure comes highly recommended for all Kate Bishop fans!
