The legendary Olympic Dream Team is back! Hong Kong-based collectible brand ENTERBAY is set to release a 1/6 scale articulated action figure of Michael Jordan in his iconic '92 Barcelona Olympics "Dream Team" uniform, joining their acclaimed "Real Masterpiece" NBA Collection. This highly anticipated figure is expected to launch in June 2022.
Many fans are undoubtedly familiar with the U.S. men's national basketball team, famously dubbed the "Dream Team." After the ban on professional players was lifted in 1989, the United States began assembling rosters of top NBA talent to achieve excellence in international basketball competitions. The inaugural "Dream Team," formed for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, boasted an unprecedentedly star-studded lineup. Beyond Michael "Air" Jordan, the roster included legends like Chris Mullin, "The Golden Left Hand," Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, David "The Admiral" Robinson, Karl "The Mailman" Malone, and his longtime teammate John Stockton, among others. This roster is widely regarded as the greatest Dream Team ever assembled, and they predictably dominated the Olympics, securing the gold medal with an undefeated record.
This ENTERBAY release brings to life Michael Jordan in his iconic Team USA #9 jersey from that era as a 1/6 scale articulated figure. Beyond Jordan's meticulously sculpted body, it includes both his game uniform and a warm-up suit for display versatility. Also included are a 1/6 scale basketball, a dedicated display stand, multiple interchangeable hand parts, and accessories like wristbands and kneepads. For any Michael Jordan fan, this collectible is definitely worth considering!
