Japanese apparel and general merchandise importer/exporter YELLOW Co., Ltd. (イエロー) is set to launch a new capsule toy brand, Kigumi (黃組). Their upcoming "You're Drinking That?! PET Bottle Cover" capsule toy series promises both practicality and humor, transforming bottled sauces that you definitely shouldn't be chugging into six unique bottle cover designs. Each capsule will retail for 300 JPY, with an anticipated release in August 2022.
The "You're Drinking That?! PET Bottle Cover" capsule toy series is a collaborative project with Keiko Otani, a designer from Mousou Koubou (妄想工作所), known for their innovative and humorous creations. They've ingeniously transformed popular Japanese condiments – Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Yakiniku Sauce, Yuzu Ponzu, Sesame Dressing, and Tonkatsu Sauce – into stylish covers designed to fit over PET bottles. Measuring up to 23 cm in length, these covers make it look like you're directly chugging the condiment from a distance! It might just be the perfect way for toy enthusiasts who secretly crave sauce to live out their fantasy.
