Medicos Entertainment, known for their popular "Super Action Statue" line of highly articulated figures, has announced two new additions from the classic fighting manga "Fist of the North Star": the Super Action Statue Kenshiro Musou Tensei Ver. and Super Action Statue Souther. These figures are set to debut at Japan's largest model exhibition, "Wonder Festival 2022 [Summer]," with an exclusive lottery sale beginning May 26th on the MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP, complete with special limited bonuses.
Even those unfamiliar with the original manga have likely heard of the iconic Japanese fighting manga, "Fist of the North Star." Serialized starting in 1983 with story by Buronson and art by Tetsuo Hara, the series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide and has been adapted into anime and video games. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic future where human civilization has been ravaged by nuclear war, leaving survivors to live in a brutal world where the strong prey on the weak. Hope emerges with Kenshiro, the 64th successor to the ancient Chinese assassination art of Hokuto Shinken, identifiable by the seven scars on his chest.
Both the Super Action Statue Kenshiro Musou Tensei Ver. and Super Action Statue Souther figures are supervised by original artist Tetsuo Hara. Kenshiro makes his return in his shirtless form, having mastered Hokuto Shinken's ultimate technique, Musou Tensei. He comes with a limited-edition damaged alternate face sculpt and a speech bubble accessory featuring his iconic line, "You are already dead." The painted prototype for Holy Emperor Souther has also been revealed, showcasing a high-quality metallic finish and mask accessories, making him highly anticipated!
