Sideshow Collectibles' designer toy brand, Unruly Industries, which collaborates with various artists, recently announced a new Darth Vader collectible bust from the "Star Wars" universe, designed by artist Jesse Hernandez! This striking piece is slated to ship between March and May 2023.
Jesse Hernandez is a San Francisco Bay Area artist renowned for his distinctive "Urban Aztec" design style, which he applies to street murals, toys, and paintings. He uniquely blends street graffiti with totems and elements from mysterious ancient civilizations, reinterpreting classic characters and symbols from popular culture.
This "Unruly Industries Darth Vader" bust stands approximately 25 cm tall, injecting the iconic Dark Lord's form with mythical beast carvings and powerful ancient totems. Not only is the helmet design dramatically exaggerated, but even the red lightsaber takes on a wavy, dynamic shape. Notably, the lightsaber also features an LED light-up function, which amplifies its imposing presence when illuminated!
