US toy giant NECA, partnering with Universal Monsters, has once again unveiled their latest figure following their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed releases of Frankenstein Raphael, Leonardo as The Hunchback, and Mummy Michelangelo. Today (the 11th), they announced April O'Neil transforming into "The Bride"! This figure is slated for an October 2022 release.
April O'Neil, the intrepid reporter and human ally to the four Turtle brothers in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" saga, now transforms into a macabre bride! Standing approximately 7 inches (17.7 cm) tall, the figure not only faithfully recreates The Bride's iconic hairstyle and bandaged body, but also features a heavily weathered trench coat crawling with spiders. The metallic paint application on her microphone scepter and the chain detailing on her crossbody bag further elevate the figure's intricate layering. Complete with a lightning dagger, additional spiders, a rat, an alternate head, and interchangeable hands, collectors can pose her in a variety of captivating scenes. Pairing her with Frankenstein Raphael promises some delightfully romantic (and monstrous) encounters!
