Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios recently announced a new addition to their 1/10 scale "Battle Diorama Series (BDS)" line: the "Classic Loki" statue, inspired by Marvel's "Loki" series! Both a Regular and DX Edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated Q1 2023 shipping date.
Portrayed by Richard E. Grant, the elder Loki appeared in the series based on Jack Kirby's classic 1960s comic book design, becoming known as "Classic Loki" among the many Loki variants. This approximately 21 cm tall statue captures him in the iconic pose of conjuring a massive illusion to distract the storm monster Alioth. The figure meticulously recreates his striking yellow and green costume, the weathered, rusted golden horned helmet, and the energy effects emanating from his hands. The DX Edition takes it further by including the urban illusion he creates! Beyond the upward-surging green energy effects, the urban structures feature a heavy metallic paint application, making the DX Edition an absolute must-have.
