Following popular releases like the Rei Ayanami and Sakura Suzuhara figures, the series now presents the "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Mari Illustrious Makinami," available in two distinct versions. These figures were originally scheduled for release in September 2022.
The "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Mari Illustrious Makinami" collectible figures capture Mari in her iconic green plugsuit from EVA Unit-05, as she first appeared in "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance." Boasting a more luxurious size and vibrant coloring compared to standard GashaPortraits releases, these figures feature a meticulously painted EVA plugsuit. They also intricately capture her flowing twin-tails, iconic glasses, and charming cat-like facial expression!
The two versions offer slightly different aesthetics: Mari A features a matte finish plugsuit, while Mari B depicts her holding her helmet and showcases gradient translucent hair parts. Both versions include a dedicated display base.
