This beloved collectible is now making a triumphant return with a brand-new VINTAGE colorway as part of the "Devilman" & "Mazinger Z" 50th Anniversary special project, "DV50"! The lottery for this limited edition piece opened on May 26, 2022.
Standing approximately 15 cm tall, the "MAGURO Mazinger Z" brilliantly fuses the classic Mazinger Z aesthetic with Chino Lam's signature "Maguro Senpai" tuna character. It boasts adorable, chibi-style proportions and a wonderfully smooth, rounded sculpt that feels great in hand. A delightful detail allows the head's cockpit to open, revealing the tiny tuna pilot nestled inside. Coupled with articulated arms, the figure offers plenty of playful posing options. This vibrant VINTAGE color scheme, curated by Chino Lam from a palette of classic retro sofubi toys, radiates an entirely different and refreshing vibe compared to its predecessor. Yet, it retains metallic accents on the head and waist, adding a touch of classic flair that truly makes the design pop.
