FOTS JAPAN, a figure brand under Japan's BE-FULL company (Bfull Co., Ltd.), is bringing popular illustrator Kaoming's artwork to life with a new Nanjo Aoi 1/6 scale pre-painted figure. Priced at 22,000 JPY, the figure was originally slated for release in September 2022.
Renowned illustrator Kaoming (カオミン) is celebrated for their delicate brushwork and aesthetic style, masterfully capturing the beauty of the female form and the youthful charm of girls. With a strong presence on social media, Kaoming has also released an art book, "Phantom Girl," featuring a curated selection of their game and book illustrations.

The "Kaoming Illustration Nanjo Aoi" 1/6 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 24.4 cm tall, perfectly capturing the captivating moment she emerges from a midsummer pool as depicted in the original illustration. Under the direct supervision of Kaoming, the figure meticulously recreates her form-fitting white one-piece swimsuit, which clings to her skin due to the wetness. The thin material hints at her damp skin and even the swimsuit padding beneath—an incredibly alluring detail! Furthermore, realistic wrinkles and subtle "skin bite" effects are sculpted around her waist and hips. Her adorable short, curly hair gently adheres to her cheeks, and her skin boasts a lustrous, wet sheen. The charming expression from the illustration is also faithfully reproduced.
