BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced an exclusive item available only to GUNDAM FAN CLUB paid members: the "ν Gundam (First Lot Color Ver.)" from the FW GUNDAM CONVERGE series, known for its intricately detailed Mobile Suit Gundam figures standing at an average height of 55mm. This special release is slated for November 2022.
This release features the "RX-93 ν Gundam," piloted by Federation ace Amuro Ray in the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack." Unlike its appearance in the anime, this version represents the ν Gundam in its initial state, prior to the installation of the Psycho-Frame. Its overall color scheme reflects the almost unpainted grey-white of its factory rollout.
The FW GUNDAM CONVERGE ν Gundam (First Lot Color Ver.) utilizes the same sculpt as the ν Gundam (Revive Ver.) from "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE 10th Anniversary #SELECTION 02." It recreates the initial color scheme using varying shades of grey and features the Anaheim Electronics (AE) logo printed on its left shoulder and shield.
Its armaments include a Beam Rifle, Beam Saber hilt, Beam Saber effect part, Hyper Bazooka, Shield, and the iconic Fin Funnels mounted on its back. The parts runner also includes detail-enhancing parts for areas such as the auxiliary thrusters. Additionally, this version comes with an exclusive display stand featuring the GUNDAM FAN CLUB logo.
