Max Factory's popular figma action figure series has just announced its latest release from the hit mobile game "Fate/Grand Order": Lancer/Altria Pendragon, slated for a May 2023 launch. This release will include both a standard edition and a luxurious DX Edition, which comes with her beloved steed.
Appearing in the game's Sixth Singularity, "Camelot: The Holy Round Table Domain," the ruler of the Holy City, known as the "Lion King," is revealed to be Altria Pendragon from an alternate timeline. Unlike her mainstream counterpart, her physical growth was not restricted by the Holy Sword. Instead, she wields the Holy Lance "Rhongomyniad" and, through its prolonged presence, has ascended to a demigod-like existence. From this divine perspective, she views all things, dedicated solely to transforming the Holy City of Camelot into an eternal realm.
The figma Lancer/Altria Pendragon faithfully recreates her voluptuous physique and heavy armor from her Third Ascension design, all in fully articulated form. Details like her crown, armor, and intricate embroidery are finished with metallic paint to convey a sense of weight and grandeur. Her striking red cape is crafted from fabric with an embedded wire, allowing for dynamic posing. Thanks to figma's signature joint system, collectors can achieve a wide range of flexible and heroic stances.
The standard edition comes with three distinct face plates: a "serious face," a "roaring face," and a "smiling face." Her Holy Lance, "Rhongomyniad," is included in both its standard form and its Noble Phantasm release state. Both versions of the lance utilize clear parts with a pearlescent coating to capture its radiant glow.
For an even more impressive display, the luxurious DX Edition includes the Lion King's beloved steed, "Dun Stallion," along with a dedicated saddle. Dun Stallion is adorned with striking silver-white armor and features articulated legs, allowing Altria to be posed riding atop. When combined with an articulated stand, collectors can recreate thrilling, dynamic battle scenes.
