Third Wave Unleashed! Godzilla (1962) Head Tissue Box, Inspired by King Kong's Iconic Tree Attack, Arrives This August

Following the highly popular first and second waves, Japanese company DeAgostini has unveiled the third installment in their much-discussed "Godzilla Head Tissue Box" merchandise line: the "Godzilla (1962) Head Tissue Box," slated for an early August 2022 release.

The "Godzilla Head Tissue Box" series offers an innovative twist, merging a vertical tissue box with a detailed Godzilla head sculpt. The tissue dispenser is ingeniously placed within Godzilla's mouth, creating the illusion of him unleashing his atomic breath with every pull – a truly electrifying experience! This third installment specifically celebrates the 60th anniversary of the 1962 film "King Kong vs. Godzilla," faithfully recreating Godzilla's design from that iconic movie.

Measuring approximately 26 cm tall and 20 cm deep, the "Godzilla (1962) Head Tissue Box" is once again sculpted by the talented Kenichi Matsumoto, just like its predecessors. It meticulously recreates the distinctive features of Godzilla (1962), from his iconic upward-gazing eyes to his reptilian head shape and mouth. Produced in polystone, the piece boasts an impressive level of detail, faithfully capturing the rough skin texture and other nuances from the original sculpt. It's a fun nod to the past – remember when King Kong famously shoved a tree into Godzilla's mouth? Now, Godzilla finally gets to dispense something himself!
