Snail Shell Studio, a Chinese brand specializing in original mecha girl articulated figures, has partnered with Chinese cartoonist LAS (LAS91214) to launch the "Heavy Armor TIWAZ" original mecha series. Their latest release is the 1/12 scale articulated figure, "Heavy Armor TIWAZ Mass Production Type," with a suggested retail price of 348 RMB, slated for release in Q3 2022.
The "Heavy Armor TIWAZ" series is a brand-new creation from Snail Shell Studio, incorporating designs from renowned mecha designer LAS91214. This collaboration brings LAS's intricate mechanical details to life in three dimensions. The mobile unit captain of the Heavy Armor TIWAZ, "Z," is a former soldier with a werewolf-inspired appearance. Honest and reliable, he has zero tolerance for lawless forces. To uphold his sense of justice, he engages in battle with "JINROU," prompting him to redefine "what must be protected."
The "Heavy Armor TIWAZ Mass Production Type" 1/12 scale articulated figure stands approximately 18 cm tall, faithfully recreating a TIWAZ squad member who loyally executes the captain's orders at all times. The figure features meticulous weathering and battle damage details on its arm armor and weapons. Notably, the melee weapon, the "XM18G “HAMMER HEAD”" machete, is designed by the renowned Japanese design company NEMOTOKNIVES, enhancing the overall weaponry with aggressive and intimidating presence. It also includes a tactical shotgun and a law enforcement automatic rifle as ranged weapons, all presented in a sleek metallic black finish, exuding a sharp and cool aesthetic.
